GENERAL TERMS​​
1. The Tribute Tarot is an independent artist-made tarot project by Sand Laurenson. These policies apply to purchases made directly through The Tribute Tarot website unless a product page states otherwise. All prices are shown in GBP. The Tribute Tarot is not currently VAT registered, so UK VAT is not added at checkout. If this changes, the website will be updated. Nothing in these policies affects any statutory rights that apply to you as a customer.

THE TRIBUTE TAROT DECK​
2. The Tribute Tarot deck is a physical boxed card deck shipped from the United Kingdom. Deck availability, expected dispatch times, and any pre-order information will be stated clearly on the product page. UK orders are sent using a tracked postal service wherever possible. The shipping cost is shown at checkout.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS​
3. International orders are welcome by enquiry. Because shipping costs and import requirements vary by destination, customers outside the UK should contact The Tribute Tarot before ordering so that a tracked shipping quote can be confirmed. For deliveries outside the UK, the customer is responsible for any import VAT, customs duty, local taxes, postal handling fees, or other charges applied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the deck price or standard shipping charge unless clearly stated in writing before purchase. Customs rules vary by country and may change without notice. Please check your local import rules before ordering.
DELIVERY DETAILS​
4. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of purchase. If an order is returned because the address was incorrect or incomplete, additional postage may be required before it can be resent. Once an order has been dispatched, postal delivery times are outside the direct control of The Tribute Tarot.

returns, cancellations, and damaged items​
5. If you wish to cancel an online order for a deck, please contact The Tribute Tarot within 14 days of receiving it. The deck must then be returned within 14 days of that notice. The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage unless the deck is faulty, damaged, or was supplied incorrectly. Returns must be sent using a tracked postal service. Please retain the tracking information until your refund has been completed.

The deck should be returned complete, including the box, cards, inserts, and any accompanying printed material. Customers may inspect the deck as reasonably necessary, but if it has been handled beyond what would normally be required to examine it and this results in a reduction in value, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund.

Where a cancellation is eligible for a refund, the purchase price and the cost of the standard outbound delivery option will be refunded. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced or express delivery service is not refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days of evidence being provided that it has been returned.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

6. Please inspect the parcel and deck when they arrive. If the parcel, box, or deck appears damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact The Tribute Tarot as soon as reasonably possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, and provide clear photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, box, and deck where relevant.

Please keep the packaging until the issue has been resolved, as it may be needed for a postal claim. Please retain and return the deck, box, cards, inserts, and relevant packaging where possible.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, The Tribute Tarot will cover reasonable return costs and arrange an appropriate refund or replacement.

DARK GLASS READINGS
7. A Dark Glass Reading is a personalised written tarot reading delivered privately by email as a PDF document. It is not an instant download and no physical item is shipped.
​
Each reading is written individually in response to one question. Questions should be clear and concise. Once a question has been submitted, it cannot be changed.
​
Completed readings are delivered by email within the timeframe stated on the Request a Reading page.
​
Tarot readings are interpretive and reflective in nature. They are not presented as factual statements, predictions, guarantees, or professional advice. They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional support. Customers remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

Each reading is delivered as a complete written document. Follow-up questions, continuing correspondence, or ongoing consultation are not included.
​
The Tribute Tarot reserves the right to decline a question if it falls outside the scope of the work. If this happens before work on the reading begins, the purchase will be refunded in full.

reading cancellations and refunds
8. A Dark Glass Reading is an individually written service produced in response to the customer’s submitted question.
​
Customers purchasing a service online normally have a 14-day cancellation period. By completing the purchase, the customer expressly requests that work on the reading may begin before that 14-day period has ended.
​
If the reading is cancelled before work has begun, a full refund will be made.
​
If the customer cancels after work has begun but before the reading has been completed, any refund may be reduced by a reasonable proportion to reflect the work already carried out.
​
Where the reading has been fully completed within the cancellation period following the customer’s express request for work to begin, and the customer has acknowledged that the right to cancel will be lost once the service has been fully performed, the right to cancel ends when the reading is completed.

If The Tribute Tarot declines the submitted question before work begins, the purchase will be refunded in full.
Nothing in this section affects the customer’s statutory rights if the service is not supplied as described.

9. The Tribute Tarot respects the privacy of all visitors and customers. Personal information is collected only when necessary to process orders, deliver purchased items or readings, respond to enquiries, and keep necessary business records.

11. All customer information, questions, and readings are treated as private. Questions submitted for readings and the completed readings themselves will not be shared, published, or used publicly without explicit permission.

Email communication
14. Email addresses are used only for: order confirmation; delivery of purchased readings; questions about an order or enquiry; responding to messages sent through the website. Customers are not automatically added to a mailing list. Mailing list sign-up, if offered, will be separate and optional.

15. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. The Tribute Tarot does not store or have access to full payment card details.

16. Personal information is processed where necessary to fulfil an order or provide a requested service, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and where appropriate for the legitimate interests of administering The Tribute Tarot and responding to enquiries. Where consent is required, such as for optional marketing communications, it will be requested separately.
