the structure
The Tribute Tarot is a complete working tarot deck: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, held within the traditional structure of Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each card has been developed as part of a coherent symbolic system, where image, colour, gesture, setting, and atmosphere carry meaning before explanation begins.
the tribute
Rooted in the visual language established by Pamela Colman Smith and the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition, the deck does not seek to replace its source, but to stand in dialogue with it. It is a tribute, not an imitation: a contemporary artist’s deck shaped by drawing, painting, revision, psychological inquiry, and long attention to the old symbolic forms.
the working deck
The cards are designed for reading, study, reflection, and collection. They are not decorative objects dressed up as tarot, nor are they a soft escape from reality. They work through image, pattern, archetype, consequence, shadow, and the difficult clarity that sometimes arrives when something is looked at directly.
